Momentum improved quarter after quarter and significantly accelerated into double digits in the fourth quarter. Dermatological Beauty advanced in all regions. Momentum was particularly strong in emerging markets and resilient in mature markets. La Roche-Posay remained the number one growth contributor. In the US, the brand progressively reaccelerated in skincare and benefitted from the entry into haircare. In emerging markets and mainland China, CeraVe pursued its very strong momentum, growing well ahead of the market. SkinCeuticals crossed the billion-euro mark, delivering very dynamic growth everywhere.

The popularity of aesthetic treatments is growing everywhere in the world. In the most developed countries, up to one in three consumers has undertaken a procedure , with more men and young consumers wanting to prevent signs of ageing. In the Dermatological Beauty Division, we leverage the complementarity between topicals and procedures to set new standards of beauty performance. This is what we call integrated skincare. Aesthetic treatments address both cosmetic desires and dermatological conditions like acne scarring. They are driving a strong demand for highly efficient products used before and after treatments. Eighty-seven percent of procedure “doers” have indeed used skincare to accompany or complement their most recent procedure .
As the global dermocosmetics leader, underpinned by unique partnerships with world-renowned aesthetic dermatologists as well as state-of-the-art clinical proofs, we are uniquely positioned to capitalise on the fast-growing professional aesthetic market. Globally, SkinCeuticals is recognised as the number one medical aesthetic brand, with Skinbetter Science ranked third . SkinCeuticals’ recent A.G.E. Interrupter Ultra Serum is a double-patented formula that provides visible lift and was tested on GLP-1 patients as a regimen with A.G.E. Interrupter Advanced Cream to address the “Ozempic face” – the sagging effect following rapid weight loss of patients undergoing GLP-1 treatment . This underscores our commitment to accompany dermatologists to help them better serve their patients.
Suncare and sun protection: the non-negotiables of healthy skin
The Dermatological Beauty Division upholds the need for sun protection. Despite its importance, daily SPF use remains low: in the US for example, only 18% of men and 42% of women use sunscreen every day . Lower sunscreen usage can stem from dissatisfaction with the product experience, especially in hot and humid countries. Leveraging these consumer insights, L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty has refined its suncare offerings.
Building on more than 85 years of research, we innovate with new textures and formulations to increase the daily adoption of SPF around the world. In 2025, La Roche-Posay launched Anthelios UVAIR™ SPF 50+, providing ultra-light, broad-spectrum sun protection and hydration that feels invisible on the skin; and Anthelios UVMUNE 400 Anti-Dark Spot Fluid, a breakthrough solution powered by L’Oréal’s patented Mexoryl 400 and Melasyl™️. This formula protects against ultra-long UVA rays while helping to fade dark spots and prevent hyperpigmentation.
We also address the urgent need for skin cancer prevention and detection through advocacy. In 2025, La Roche-Posay’s #DermsAgainstBurns campaign quickly worked with skin health experts to counter a dangerous TikTok “sunburn stripes” challenge among young people. The brand also engaged the gaming community through its Gaming for Cause initiative, running a 24-hour global livestream across 10 countries, which raised $230,000 for melanoma checks and skin cancer prevention.
Hair and scalp health under the spotlight
From hair loss to dandruff, hair and scalp concerns are the second leading reason for consulting a dermatologist . Hair is now the fastest-growing segment, yet it remains very underdeveloped: haircare in dermocosmetics only represents one third of haircare in total beauty.
