Every Celebrity Red-Carpet Look at the 2026 Met Gala
Fashion’s biggest night always brings some unforgettable ensembles

The first Monday in May is here again. Tonight, the Met Gala returns to New York City, bringing some of the world’s biggest celebrities, designers, models, artists, philanthropists, and more together to support the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
This year, the theme is “Costume Art,” and the museum’s coinciding exhibition marks the first within a series of new permanent fashion galleries. The exhibit will highlight “the centrality of the dressed body in the museum’s vast collection,” according to curator Andrew Bolton, with paintings, sculptures, and more presented alongside decades of designs. “What connects every curatorial department and what connects every single gallery in the museum is fashion, or the dressed body,” Bolton notes.
For 2026, the celebrity co-chairs include Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, and Venus Williams, all of whom have attended the fashion fundraiser in the past, as well as the returning chairperson, Anna Wintour.
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos are serving as first-time sponsors for the event, alongside Saint Laurent, and this year also features a host committee that is co-chaired by Saint Laurent’s creative director, Anthony Vaccarello, as well as brand ambassador Zoë Kravitz. They are joined by other committee members including Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Gwendoline Christie, Alex Consani, Misty Copeland, Elizabeth Debicki, Lena Dunham, Paloma Elsesser, Lisa, Chloe Malle, Sam Smith, Teyana Taylor, Lauren Wasser, Anna Weyant, A’ja Wilson, and Yseult.
